"I use this cleanser to cut through my makeup and it is easy to use and very thorough. My skin is becoming so good since using REN and I cannot rave about the products enough. My skin is so oily that I still need to use my Mayblossom afterwards but this is another must have in my REN routine. It takes a few uses to get it right but once you do you will never want to be without it. Only drawback is that is not very portable."

"It's a daily treat to use this product and it works on my troublesome skin - soothing and healing and hydrating. I love the smell and the texture. The Muslin cloth makes it slightly exfoliating but without drying out my skin. I have very blemish-prone/sensitive skin and I alternate this cleanser with the ClearCalm clay cleanser. Really wonderful cleanser!"

"First of all I bought this item and many others on Sunday and it arrived at my door on Tuesday which is fantastic! The cleansing balm is new to REN and I think it is fantastic. It will last a lot longer than the pumping cleansers as you can use as much or as little every day. It is light smells gorgeous and makes cleaning your skin a joy. I really would like a travel size of this one! Suitable for all skin types, great for every day gentle use. ! Yet again REN you live up to your reputation :)"

"This cleanser is on par with another well-known brand's award-winning cult cleanser - but with the important added benefit that it contains none of the chemicals / parabens that a lot of cleansers rely on to get results. I disagree about it being difficult to rinse off; you do not need to use a large amount, and once massaged in and emulsified with a little water, it does come off with ease. With a geninely competitve price, this is a definite bathroom staple!"

"Great product that really suits my sensitive and dry skin. I disagree it's hard to wash off - I massage it in whilst waiting for my shower to warm up, jump in the shower, add a little water to emulsify it (as per the instructions), massage a little more and rinse off - easy. I use the cloth if not in the shower, always remembering to emulsify into a milky consistency with a little water after the massaging stage. My skin loves it and feels soft and hydrated. The ritual of massaging is also calming and is working wonders for my skin."

"product = 5 stars: the product itself is very good - a great cleanser that doesn't irritate, over-lubricate or dry out my sensitive combination skin. it smells fab too and has a lovely, velvety texture. packaging = 0 stars: the packaging is terrible. i'm not a fan of ren's packaging in general - it's deceptively bigger than the actual volume of the contents and over-complicated, which means the dispensing mechanisms sometimes break... very frustrating. it's particularly bad for the purity cleansing balm - the product separates within the container, making it less effective and eventually unusable. to combat this and ensure consistency throughout its lifetime i transfer the product instead to a pot. REN, please change the packaging!"

"Absolutely wonderful. Soothes skin and smells great too. I have suffered with acne for 25 years and after many different treatments I have been given a drug to dry out my skin. This balm has evened out the dry bits, eased ares of congestion and also minimsed pores and fine lines. I love it and would not hesitate to recommend it. Use at night and then follow up with Omega Oil-perfect! well done Ren!!"
