Mr André Schmidt, 16/03/2011 - A shame the 150 ml High Glide Cooling Shave Cream have been discontinued!

"This has been my preferred shaving cream for some time now, as I am overly sensitive to other products. Luckily I still have 1 left to use but it is quite sad to see it go and that it only can be bought in this £40 gift set, although I also use the 50 ml Multi-Tasking After Shave Balm, which I also whole-heartedly can recommend. I highly recommend the whole gift set for anyone looking for that great shave, especially if you have sensitive skin."

"At last I found the perfect shaving cream combination and now the product (150ml High Glide Cooling Shave Cream) is discontinued, due - as I learned - to low sales. It is basically the only product that I can use that gives me no rash. Apparently I am allergic to some very common ingredient (menthol, preservatives, who knows what) that is used by most other brands. REN High Glide Cooling Shave Cream and the Tamanu shaving oil do not contain this, I experienced. I really do wish REN comes back at their decision and I invite everyone who thinks likewise to express their opinion about this product on this site. Paul M, Amsterdam"

"I recieved this early today and had to try it out right away. I have sensitive skin and shaving is a sore point for me. First impressions is that this would be the perfect gift. It comes in an attractive box, ready for wrapping. Now to the real stuff. How to they work? I shave oil is a lovely consistancy, strangely not toatally oil, but great as you wont be left shiny. The shave cream, is thick and luxurious, going on just thick enough to give good glide, but not so thick is clogs the razor. Shaving was a breeze, and I was left alot smoother than usual (although I don't have much of a beard). After rinsing my face felt plump and smooth and completely soothed. No razor burn or redness in sight. Then I applied the after shave balm. It went on clean, and absorbed quickly. No mess, no fuss, but totally calmed skin. After 10 mins, i then applied my clearcalm day fluid and it also absorbed quickly. The set as a whole is great. The smell of all the products are not at all feminine, which I know some men hate (I don't mind either way), it smells clean but not floral. Great value for money, I just wished I stocked up when they were 50% off."
